What Clients Are Saying

“Thuan is a WONDERFUL massage therapist! He makes you feel comfortable and he is always willing to share his knowledge - why he’s doing what he’s doing and of the body and its interconnections. I wholeheartedly and unequivocally recommend Thuan to anyone who needs massage therapy!”

— Rachel S.

“I suffered from chronic shoulder pain for years. The course of action my doctor prescribed was cortisone shots every three months.  I was only pain free after finding I Knead It.  Thuan is extremely knowledgeable in in the area of massage, and knows exactly what to do to rid you from pain.  I would recommend him highly.”

— Sandra M.

“Thuan has a wholistic approach to fitness and body health. I first met him as a personal trainer at LA Fitness. After a couple of months of intense training, he would smooth out all those nasty muscle knots. I highly recommend Thuan as a massage therapist and can’t wait until he is a full doctor of acupuncture.”

— Ginny F.

“Thuan is truly a master of massage. Within minutes of your session, he knows exactly what you need, even before you tell him how things are going. I have been seeing him regularly for about a year, and can honestly say that I have never felt better… I am stronger, more balanced, and I recover faster. As an athlete, I am blessed to have found him and cannot imagine trying to do the things I do without him in my corner. He is also always trying to learn new techniques, skills, and gain more knowledge so that he can help his clients the best he can… he is the very best!!”

— Stephanie P.

“I had immediate pain relief and results from my very first to visit with Thuan. Since then, I’ve continued to patronize his practice to prevent future injury. Throughout all of my appointments, he asks lots of questions, assesses the current situation, and adapts his massage approach to the present situation. Furthermore, he very thoroughly explains why he’s doing what he is doing and offers awesome advice on things I can do at home to improve my physical conditioning.

Since my major surgery, I still enjoy doing all the outdoor activities I did before my accident. Thuan helped me out tremendously and I think you’ll benefit from working with him. He also stays up-to-date on the latest techniques and incorporates them into his massage strategy. I found that no two sessions with Thuan are the same. Every session begins with a quick assessment as to what is going on with the body that day. You’re not only works the problem area but everywhere around it in order to get the best results.”

FAQs

What is your appointment like?

We always start appointments with a consultation to understand every client’s health history and needs. Then we will perform an orthopedic assessment and/or leg length evaluation to determine the cause of a client‘s muscle or skeletal imbalance pattern. Then, we will compose a proper treatment plan to help clients reestablish homeostasis in their body. If it is necessary, we will advise patients with certain exercises for homework.

Do you take insurance?

No, we do not at this moment, but we can give you the information you need to submit to your insurance on your own. Just ask! We are here for you.

Will the massage treatment need to be painful for it to be effective?

Not at all! It is up to everyone’s comfort level. We are not here to make you feel uncomfortable. We are here to help. We always advise people to let us know when it is becoming uncomfortable. We can always change the pressure or use different techniques to achieve our end goal. Remember, the massage intensity is as much as your comfort level.

What type of pain or injury do you treat?

We have treated varieties of conditions from nerve pain to muscle skeletal pain. For the example: neck pain, back pain, mid or lower back pain sciatica, headache, migrant, hand and leg numbness, finger, and toe numbness, etc.)

How often do you see your patient?

It depends on each individual and their current state. We commonly see most new patients once a week for a month or until we can get the body at a homeostasis level (they feel no pain, or the pain is not noticeable). Then, we go to second “maintenance” phase, which depends on how well the patient is doing. We may see them once a week to once every four weeks. We always recommend the minimum time frame they should come back to have the best results and benefits of retaining the treatment. It is all up to each individual client’s circumstances and physical activities. There is no such thing as “I feel too good “. We deserve to spoil and treat our body well.

Will I feel sore after the massage?

Soreness after massage is quite common. This varies by each person. In our experience, client’s soreness lasts for less than a day or up to 72 hours.  The soreness level is usually no more than the feeling of soreness after a good work out. To minimize your soreness, we recommend drinking a lot of water before and after the appointment! Always communicate with us the pressure level. Remember, more pressure does not mean it is effective.
